Time Domain Electromagnetics with coils TEM, fluxgate or SQUID sensors

_______________

TEM stands for Time Domain Electro Magnetics and is a an alternative method to measure subsurface resistivity or conductivity, such as clays, mineralized targets, faults, or groundwater. This method utilizes as a source a rectangular loop of wire through which a time varying current is injected to generate an electromagnetic field, while measurements may be done with various sensors. Our company utilizes a low frequency coil and two magnetic sensor: fluxgate and SQUID-HT, the last one being for deeper information. Other applications asides mining exploration are groundwater and geotechnical applications.
