Groundwater Prospecting

Our earliest applications for groundwater prospecting date back to 1960. José Arce Helberg and S. Parker Gay built the first electrical resistivity equipment locally, and was used to locate the three water wells that still provide water to the city of San Juan and the Marcona mining operation. During the 1960s, many surveys were done for the sugar producers and agricultural cooperatives. The methods we offer are: Self-Potential, Electrical Resistivity (1D, 2D, 3D, DAS) and Time Domain Electromagnetics (TEM) with various sensors (fluxgate, low frequency coil, SQUID).
